The Monster’s Award
The Monster’s Award is organized by Template Monster. They started back in 2021 and have been continuing since. They give out awards in 22 different plugin categories including Maintenance, WooCommerce, Backup and migration, Blogs, Booking and Appointment, Forms plugins, etc.
Market research is conducted to identify popular plugins for each category. Additionally, the public can nominate their preferred brands.
After receiving a great response from the audience in 2022, they made the event in 2023 even bigger and better.
Dokan was competing in the WooCommerce category with other popular plugins like CartFlows, and ShopEngine. The competition was neck in neck as it came right down to the wire with CartFlows.
Dokan edged out with 24% of the vote while CartFlows got 23% of the vote. Dokan was declared the winner as the best WooCommerce plugin.
The WP Weekly Awards
The WP Weekly Awards is also a prestigious award that is given to the WordPress community. This year was the best-ever award with a tremendous response from the WordPress community. With a total of 5859 Votes across 27 categories.
Dokan was competing in the eCommerce category. There Dokan got the Silver Title with 249 votes. Dokan edged out WP Easy Pay, another popular eCommerce plugin.
