We have entered into a new era in the eCommerce and the multivendor marketplace industry.

For 10 years, Dokan has been a household name in the WordPress multivendor marketplace industry. Myself and Tareq (Founder, and CTO of weDevs) began a journey to create a solution that will help business owners realize their dream of creating an empire like Amazon, eBay, Flipkart, etc.

The journey has been successful as we have served over 60000 customers till now and we have got a rating of 4.5 on the WordPress.org site.

Now it is time for us to go to the next level. With changing times the needs of business owners have also changed. They don’t want to manage complex settings or lose their sleep over some updates or security issues. Instead, they want to focus on creating their brand, get more products on board, and reach more customers.

From our 10 years of eCommerce and marketplace industry knowledge, we understood the pain of business owners and decided to give them more freedom to manage their businesses.

We have released a cloud version of Dokan, that will help users manage their eCommerce platform and marketplaces more easily and streamline their business. We have used our 10 years of experience of creating, managing and catering eCommerce stores and marketplaces to create this platform.

Dokan Cloud is a standalone cloud-based eCommerce platform that will enable users to create a multivendor marketplace. We have made this platform so that it reduces dependency on WordPress and streamlines complicated marketplace processes.

There are many advantages to switching or using the Dokan Cloud version.

My team has been working hard for the past 2 years to create this amazing platform for you. We have appointed a separate development team to work on only the cloud version of Dokan. So far we have added all the necessary features needed to get started.

Initially, we have added these features-

1. Detailed Dashboard and Report Filtering

Admins need to have clear insight into what is going on in the marketplace. That is why a detailed dashboard with the necessary filters is needed to get the correct reports.

Marketplace admin will have access to the comprehensive Dokan Cloud dashboard that will give detailed insights into their marketplace performance. They can easily monitor their earnings, and track the number of customers, orders, products sold, and refunds.

There is also a graph that provides an overview of the marketplace situation, offering valuable insights at a glance.

A dedicated report section allows admins to filter data for daily, monthly, or yearly analysis. This feature enables them to dive deeper into trends and patterns, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic planning.

2. Page Builder

This is the most amazing feature of Dokan Cloud. Yes, Dokan Cloud has its page builder. This is a novelty feature only available on Dokan Cloud. I have seen the struggle business owners face while designing their stores. That is our team decided to bring in a page builder to design the storefront with ease.

You can use that page builder to customize your marketplace. If you have any experience using Elementor or any other page builder, then it would be easy for you to use the page builder as it is made with the same design.

There are many amazing widgets and features to design your marketplace the way you like.

Also, there are two themes available for you to activate and customize to make your store look professional. Although you don’t need to customize the themes as they are already with par with the design trends, but still you can use the page builder to satisfy your design needs.

We will add more themes in the future.

Uploading and managing products is one of the most difficult task in any eCommerce platform. We tried to make that process very easy.

In Dokan Cloud, both physical and digital products are fully supported, offering flexibility for a wide range of marketplace offerings. Both admins and vendors can create and upload products, providing all the necessary information to accurately showcase their items.

Moreover, they can add attributes and variations, as well as assign brands and categories to ensure effective organization and discoverability within the marketplace.

For enhanced visibility and search engine optimization (SEO), there’s a dedicated section specifically designed for product SEO.

Other than the commission, the admin can also earn by selling subscription plans to vendors.
