In this documentation, we will show you how we will charge the marketplace owners for using the Dokan Cloud version.
Here is the pricing of Dokan Cloud–
There are 4 types of pricing-
- Basic ($69/month)
- Growth ($129/month)
- Scale ($399/month)
- Enterprise
You can use a new account or log in with your previous account (if you are a user of the Dokan plugin) to purchase Dokan Cloud.
Basic Plan
The Basic Plan starts from $69/month. In this plan, you will get all the features of Dokan Cloud.
But you can onboard 100 vendors to your marketplace. Also, you must share 1% of your revenue with the Dokan team.
That means, if you earn $100 monthly, you need to share $1 with the Dokan team.
Growth Plan
The Growth Plan starts from $129/month. In this plan, you will get all the features of Dokan Cloud.
But you can onboard 250 vendors to your marketplace. Also, you must share 0.75% of your revenue with the Dokan team.
That means, if you earn $100 monthly, you need to share $0.75 with the Dokan team.
Scale Plan
The Scale Plan starts from $399/month. In this plan, you will get all the features of Dokan Cloud.
But you can onboard unlimited vendors to your marketplace. Also, you must share 0.5% of your revenue with the Dokan team.
That means, if you earn $100 monthly, you need to share $0.5 with the Dokan team.
Enterprise
This is a customized plan. You can sit and talk with us to give you a customized version of the Dokan cloud.
1. When will the billing period start?
Ans: The billing period will start the moment the user purchases a plan. The trial period will not be part of the billing period.
2. What Happens When the Trial Expires?
Ans: The user will get 14 days of trial period. After the trial period expires, the admin will be redirected to the billing section. The admin will get a grace period of 7 days. In this period, the admin panel will be restricted, and vendor and storefront will be accessible. And after 7 days, the marketplace will be suspended.
3. Can I Purchase Any Package at Any Time?
Ans: No. If you cross the 100 vendor threshold, then you can’t purchase the Basic plan. You have to purchase the Growth or Scale plan.
4. What Happens If I Cancel the Subscription?
Ans: You can cancel the subscription at any time. However the cancellation process will be completed when the billing period ends. You won’t be charged the subscription fee after the billing period ends. After the billing period, ends, the site will not be accessible.
5. For Which Orders I Will be Charged?
Ans: You will only be charged a commission for the completed orders. You won’t be billed for Cancel. Pending, Refunded, and Processing orders.
For example, we will charge commission for all the completed orders in January. However, if any of those orders get refunded in February, then for the February month calculation, the bill will be adjusted accordingly.
But if the calculation is negative after adjustment, then the commission will be 0.
6. Can I get a Refund of My Subscription Payment?
Ans: Dokan does not provide refunds by default. You can cancel your subscription at any time before your next renewal date. If you cancel after the renewal date, your subscription will remain active until the next renewal.
7. Will Dokan Charge Commission on Tax or Shipping Fee?
Ans: No. We will charge the commission on your revenue only.
Here, revenue = product prices – discount.
So, the tax and shipping charges you are collecting will not be counted here.
