A “frequently bought together” feature in a eCommerce store offers several benefits. It increases sales by suggesting complementary products and encouraging customers to purchase additional items they might not have considered, thus boosting the average order value.
This feature also enhances the customer experience by providing a convenient way to discover products that complete their initial purchase. Personalized recommendations based on actual buying patterns can lead to higher conversion rates, as customers are more likely to trust and act on suggestions that others have found useful. Additionally, it promotes lesser-known or new products by pairing them with popular items, increasing their visibility and potential sales.
Dokan Cloud has that feature now. The frequently bought-together products will be shown in the single product page.
Here is how it looks-
The variable that has been bought together will be shown in the case of variable products.
For example, if you bought this hoodie in green,
Along with sunglasses and another hoodie,
You have completed the order.
So, the next time you go to buy the sunglasses again, you will see the Green Hoodie in the frequently bought together section-
This is how it works.
Notes:
- The most ordered items or frequently bought items will be shown in the frequently bought section
- If the order number is the same, suppose Hoodie+Hat+Sunglasses are ordered 3 times and Hoodie+Belt+Sunglasses are also ordered 3 times. Then the frequently bought items will be shown randomly.
